I am a full time genealogist educated to Masters level, having obtained a MSc in Archive Administration, at Aberystwyth University. I am an Associate Member of AGRA (Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives) My passion for history developed at an early age and I obtained a BA (Hons) in History quite a few years ago now!
I have a particular interest in social history and have completed extensive research on legislation relating to parish registers in England and also on the more macabre topic of bodysnatching!

Not only do I help people trace their family history, but also the history of their house. I have over six years experience of research in these areas and I also run a help desk at regional family history fairs. I often work as a volunteer at a local County Record Office where, after recently cataloguing a collection donated by a local historian, I am now transcribing parish registers.
I have bases in Yorkshire and Cambridgeshire and regularly travel throughout the UK to carry out research into my own family history and that of clients.
Having lived in a number of cities in England, including York, I have developed a particular interest in North Yorkshire.
